Baga Beach If you like to watch
the sun go down Baga beach is just the place for you. Located 10-km
west of Mapusa it is a very well popular beach with locals and tourists
alike. Lined with many beach shacks and rows of sunbeds. The
Baga creek joins the sea here and there is a small bridge to take you to
the other side where you will find some good riverside restaurants and
hotels.

Baga beach is basically an extension of Calangute, even the
locals are unable to decide where one beach ends and the next begins.

The night market held here each Saturday is well worth a
visit. There are plenty of traders offering a variety goods, you'll
also find live entertainment and a bar to quench your thirst.

Coco beach This is a nice
quite beach where you can spend the day just relaxing in the sun,
there are a selection of shacks on the beach to chooses from all
offering a good selection of food & drinks.

Dona Paula
Where two of Goa's most famous rivers meet the Arabian Sea is the
secluded bay of Dona Paula. With a fine view of the Marmagao Harbour.
Located
7-km from Panjim & nestled on the south side of the rocky
hammer-shaped headland that divides the Zuari and Mandovi estuaries.
This former fishing village beach resort
makes an idyllic spot to relax and sunbathe.

Calangute The most famous Goan
beach & the heart of the tourist industry. A mere 45 minute from
Panjim is Goa's busiest and most commercialised resort. |

Benaulim Named by the Portuguese, lies in the centre of Colva Beach, 7-km

jellyfish-free, while the village area near beach side itself boasts a few

Is generally considered to be a quiet & friendly resort. A
good first stop on arrival in Goa & a long time favourite with tourists
from the UK. Candolim offers plenty of pleasant places to stay, many of
them tucked away down quiet sandy lanes, all offering good value for
money. The beach has fine silver sand & has an abundance of
Beachshacks to choose from. Situated within close proximity of
Calangute & Baga beach making this stretch of coastline very popular with
holidaymakers & local walkers alike.

Bogmalo
Compared with Calangute Or Colva, Bogmalo
is a
small-scale beach resort, there's something about the seclusion
found here that makes a visit to this beach a must. The sea
here is a reasonably safer site for
swimming and has good places to eat and shops.

Miramar Beach
This sandy beach is
popular with tourists & local alike, a place to get away from it all ! You
have a good view of Fort Aguada across the sea & if you keep walking south
you will soon find yourself on a deserted beach. Miramar Beach and is
situated just 3-km away from the capital city of Panjim.

Palolem
A favourite beach destination in Goa because its
crescent shaped bay lined with swaying coconut palm trees.
Refuted to be one of Goa's most photographed beaches. Accommodation
